The Digital Union empowers the university community by facilitating access to new media technologies and flexible spaces for use in teaching, learning, research, and outreach. Its goals include exploring technology solutions, showcasing emerging technologies, and encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty, students and staff.
History
The Digital Union was created in 2004 through a partnership between Technology Enhanced Learning and Research, The Office of the CIO, and University Libraries as a place at Ohio State University for faculty, students, and staff to explore emerging technology.
